What this notice covers
This notice describes the public compelle.com website and initial inquiries to Compelle. The site does not provide account registration, a checkout or a document-upload portal. Browsing a sample does not submit a project for analysis.
Information handling for a custom engagement should be agreed as part of that engagement. Please do not send confidential documents or sensitive personal information in your first email.
When you browse
Your browser sends technical information when it requests a page or asset, including your IP address and browser request headers. Website hosting and network providers may process request information and keep technical logs to deliver and protect the site.

When you contact us
The contact form asks for your email address, an optional name and your message. The site does not store these details. They are delivered to us by email so we can reply, and we use that correspondence to respond to your inquiry and discuss the potential engagement.
Form messages and our replies pass through the email providers involved in sending and receiving them. The form is not a secure upload portal. Only share information you are authorized to share, and discuss an appropriate handling arrangement before sending sensitive material.
Links to other sites
Research citations and other external links take you to independently operated websites. Their privacy notices apply when you visit them. Compelle does not control those sites or the information you provide to them.

For questions about information you have already shared with Compelle, reply to our correspondence with you or send a message through the contact form. Identify the relevant correspondence without sending unnecessary sensitive details.
